Specializations

specializations are a variety of fighting styles that define shinobi - what they are skilled at doing or are practicing. all ninja are capable of developing and mastering specializations. well, you do need to learn and master specializations for ranking up, so consider your options. have someone teach you, or do yourself.

there are nearly a dozen specializations available to you to choose from. a couple of them have sub-specializations, which are different styles within a specialization that you may learn during your adventures. 

here is a list of all the specializations.

• ninjutsu - ninja techniques - nature manipulation & shape manipulation
• taijutsu - body techniques - physical techniques & nintaijutsu
• genjutsu - illusionary techniques
• bukijutsu - weapon techniques
• kuchiyose - summoning techniques
• kugutsu - puppet techniques
• seijutsu - creature techniques
• senjutsu - sage techniques

senjutsu is a special kind of specialization that anyone can learn. its power allows for a ninja to gain enhanced sensory skills and the drawing of natural energy from nature. on its own, senjutsu requires 200 ninja points to learn; thus, it is more trying than other specializations. 

risks to senjutsu: maintaining sage mode drains 15 chakra points from a ninja. if one's chakra is reduced to 10%, they will be on the verge of death and are advised to revert to normal. below that, it is possible to collapse into a comatose state or die.

if activating sage mode occurs multiple times in one thread, the ninja will begin to develop more bestial traits- appearance, behavior, etc.

• 1-2 times: no effect
• 3-4 times: beastly tendencies set in
• 5-6 times: beastly changes to ninja's body
• 7+ times: ninja begins to turn into the animal in which the senjutsu is centered on.

gaining a new specialization:

• first spec.: 10 ninja points
• second spec.: 30 ninja points
• third spec.: 50 ninja points
• fourth spec.: 70 ninja points
