Hidden within the vast desert is the Village Hidden in the Sand. Water is scarce, but villagers find a reliable source of water at an oasis just a few miles outside the village. Travelers are warned of the seasonal sandstorms, which are quite deadly.

A country that lies east of the Land of Fire. It is dominated by lifeless forests and vast deserts. Compared to other locations, it is usually scorching hot during the days, and the nights are very chilling. Still, citizens of Sunagakure have found a way to expertly handle the unique climate.
